Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium funding is allocated primarily to children who have been eligible for free school meals in the past six years but is also given for looked after children who have been in care for more than six months and to children who are from service families. The Pupil Premium is additional government funding that is allocated to schools in order to enable them to address the current underlying inequalities that exist for children who are considered to be disadvantaged. There is also a separate Service Premium for children with parents in the Armed Forces.
Every school is legally required to formally report how this funding has been used and the outcomes that have been achieved.
