Helena Reeves - Robins

St. Mary's Church of England (VC) Primary SchoolI have been teaching at St Mary's since January 2008. Since then I have taught in Year 4, Year 2 and Year 1. I currently teach Robin Class (Year 2) on a Thursday and Friday. The rest of my time is working closely with other teachers and working with lots of children making sure they understand their learning. I thoroughly enjoy seeing learning happen and being part of the process that the children go through.

At St Mary's I am one of the Assistant Heads and lead Maths throughout the school. I enjoy finding out how children see numbers and how they can use language to explain their mathematical thinking. I am on the Senior Leadership Team, with responsibility for leading Key Stage 1 as well as working to ensure that we are developing our whole school approach to British Values.

I live in Radford Semele with my husband and enjoy going on holiday to new places to try different cuisines. I love; reading, cooking, dancing and being creative.

Mel Page - Robins

I am very excited to be teaching in Robins this year and I am looking forward to getting to know all the children and families at St Marys Primary School.

I trained to be a teacher at the University of Warwick and I have been working in schools in South Warwickshire for the last 6 years. I love to be creative in my lessons and to find new ways to teach to make learning exciting!

Outside of school, I have 3 crazy dogs that keep me busy on long walks. I love everything Disney, so on rainy days I love nothing more than watching my favourite Disney films. I also like to occasionally indulge in my guilty pleasure… eating chocolate!!
