Swallows - Year 4: Skillforce
The objective of today's Skillforce session was listening, co-operation and trust.
Today Swallow Class played River Bank as the ice breaker task. This activity made the group listen to commands and understand the importance of listening to people.
The children had a chance to experiment the blindfolds and what it feels like to be wearing one.
We then moved onto playing Rattlers. This made the children focus on listening carefully (with the blindfolds on) to the rattlers to try and enable the cat to chase the mouse.
Paul (our instructor) was really impressed with the children's listening skills and co-operation. The final activity was Tank Busters. This also involved blindfolds and listening to the commands of their partner which enabled them to fire the beanbag at the target. Great listening Swallow class.
