Fledglings - EYFS: Daisy snail, lemon squeezers and Pudsey!
This week we have been learning positional language. We have been hiding a teddy, toy mouse and other objects around the classroom for our friends to find. It was also Nursery rhyme week so we have been learning and singing lots of rhymes this week. We have named our snail Daisy and it has settled into its new home and likes being held by the children.
We had a mystery object appear on our snack table earlier this week! We discussed in small groups what it could be, Renora and Sophie guessed right-it was a lemon squeezer! We then had lots of fun using it to squeeze lemons and oranges which was great for strengthening our hand muscles.
We ended the week with lots of Pudsey fun!
